Development of gas injection technology in aluminum die casting

ALUWAG is successfully funded as part of the prestigious EU research and innovation program “Horizon 2020”. Together with other companies from all over Europe, we operate in a consortium. Our common mission is to develop a groundbreaking technology that could revolutionize aluminum die casting.

Our focus in the development of this technology is on the production of component cavities in aluminum die casting. We rely on advanced gas injection technology, which makes it possible to create complex structures and internal channels during the casting process. This process has already proven itself in plastic injection molding. We are convinced that it also has great potential in the series die casting process with metallic melts.

A dedicated and highly qualified team of experts is working intensively on the further development of the process and is constantly adapting it to the requirements of aluminum die casting. We face the challenges with confidence, always with the goal of improving the efficiency and quality of aluminum die casting and providing innovative solutions for the industry.
